Leicester City Football Club


Leicester City boast one of the richest and most storied histories in English football, spanning an incredible 137 years. Currently enjoying its most successful era since conception, the club have been in the global spotlight following their impressive 5000/1 Premier League winning season in 2016, widely considered as one of the greatest sporting achievements of all time. The club have continued to drive forward with great ambition, enjoying successful stints in European football and winning the prestigious FA cup to complete their goal of winning ever major honour in English football.

Established in 1884, the club have long been at the heart of the local community, harnessing the power of football to inspire individuals and businesses to achieve their full potential. Working together since 2016 the Burleighs Leicester City Gin was the first collaboration gin to enter our collection and can be found in the club shop, hospitality areas and directors lounge at the King Power stadium. A unique recipe with Leicestershire heritage at its core, the product is also exported across the globe
and sold in several countries including Thailand, Denmark & Italy,
showcasing the global reach of the club. 

Leicester Tigers


Established in 1880, Leicester Tigers are a global powerhouse of Rugby with a highly decorated and rich history. Winning 20 major titles, Tigers are a leading light of the union format with two European titles to their name and a record-breaking 10 English championships. The clubs honours and records also include 8 Anglo-Welsh cups, a record of nine consecutive Premier League rugby finals appearances and are one of just four teams to have never been relegated from the sports top division.

Leicester Tigers pride themselves on creating an inclusive and thriving community for their players, fans & partners. Burleighs are proud to have been in partnership with the club since 2018, collaborating to produce an exclusive gin that can be found across the stadium as part of their hospitality offering. Burleighs are also proud to host a Gin Experience at the stadium for home fixtures during the season, connecting fans of the club with our gin in an immersive and unique match day experience.

King Richard III Visitors Centre


The discovery of King Richard III in Leicestershire is quite the remarkable story. In August 1485 King Richard III was killed at the Battle of Bosworth, and buried by the Grey Friars. Fast forward to August 2012, the University of Leicester, and the Richard III Society began a search underneath a car park in Leicester, to find King Richard III’s remains and the Grey Friars Church. Five months after the dig began, the University of Leicester confirmed a skeleton unearthed by archaeologists was in fact Richard III.

In 2018, working in partnership with the King Richard III Visitor Centre and the Craft Gin Club, Burleighs created a special collaboration gin taking inspiration from the time the lost king sat upon the throne. Initially producing 32,000 bottles for the subscription service, the gin was such a hit it became a full time member of the range.

The Royal British Legion


The Royal British Legion is at the heart of a national network that supports our Armed Forces community. Operating since 1921, the Royal British Legion are the country’s largest Armed Forces charity, with 180,000 members, 110,000 volunteers and a network of partners and charities; helping give support wherever and whenever it’s needed. From providing expert advice and guidance, to recovery and rehabilitation, through to transitioning to civilian life, The Royal British Legion are on hand every step of the way for members of the Armed Forces and their families. 

In 2020, Burleighs and the Royal British Legion Poppy Shop joined forces to create a hand-crafted, premium gin that pays direct homage to the Royal British Legion and Armed Forces with a unique botanical recipe that features poppy seed and a standout bottle design with cascading poppies. The first batch sold out in just three hours and proceeds from the bottle go directly to the charity, providing vital funds to support our Armed forces community.

The National Forest


25 years ago, large swathes of the Midlands landscape had been left scarred by centuries of coal mining and other heavy industry. But a passionate group of people had a vision: a forest. The first forest to be created at scale in England for over 1000 years, it transformed and literally turned the landscape from black to green. The National Forest started as an idea that, like a tiny seed, was planted and nurtured until it grew into what it is today - 200 square miles of mixed habitat forest, huge green lungs that have breathed life into a landscape and transformed communities and lives.

Situated in the heart of the National Forest, Burleighs have always been inspired by the beauty of our historic surroundings. Working in partnership with the expert foresters, we developed a unique botanical recipe that encompasses the true spirit of our rolling landscape. Each bottle of Burleighs National Forest Gin sold will help support the continuing efforts to create an accessible forest that will provide lasting benefits for generations to come.
